Here in New Jersey, the holiday season is quickly changing our business world with both opportunity and accountability. Both leadership and management clearly understand the need to get the most out of people. It is through engaged employees that we find the success that increases efficiency and results.
It is critical that we grow the workforce to have enough engagement to solve problems and make decisions that support mission, core values and principles. This next level is important as we move into 2014.
Leadership needs to follow important four Carnegie-styled components that increase opportunity and understanding:
- Communicating message: Clear and consistent organizational communication drives all activity. Everyone must be on the same page for everyone to grow and succeed. Through culture and common focus, employees can realize outcome and opportunity. Understanding is critical.
- Employee engagement: Integral to growth and change every leader must give opportunity and challenge to everyone willing to accept it.
- Planning: This aspect of business is one of the most essential. If planning and process are poorly communicated, no one will understand the key issues to solve problems.
- Connection: Leadership work with everyone, regardless of level or responsibility. When decisions are made to connected employees, they are carried out with greater resolve and effectiveness.
The most important ingredient in any business is people. It is through the actions of everyone in the organization that the functions and processes get completed and the objectives get achieved. When the employees understand the culture and the leadership, good things happen. Businesses and organizations must know that everything happens through people. Growing teamwork and morale are key strategies in successful work environments. Through Dale Carnegie Training, opportunity is a learning experience that supports an engaged workforce; success is a call away. We can help.
